PEOPLE, KNOWLEDGE AND HAND GESTURES

PEOPLE, KNOWLEDGE AND HAND GESTURES

The human being is at the heart of the manufacturing process, and even the main protagonist. We distinguish between processes that use machines and those that exploit the intelligence of the hand. From the design phase to the finished product, the gesture of the hand, carried out with meticulousness and assurance, is omnipresent.

But to create the best possible production, far from envisaging a dual relationship, man, knowledge and technology at EDELTAMP have always been complementary.

And at the start of a project, one of the key moments in the plastics industry is the creation of the mold. Its intelligent design and high quality workmanship will guarantee the success of your parts production.

The moulder

The mold maker is the man for the job. He's in charge of designing and manufacturing the molds into which plastic parts will be injected for prototyping or small, medium or large-scale production. He's where gesture becomes embodied, where the hand works in interaction with the mind, the link that joins gesture to speech.

It will be supported by a rigorous organization, bringing together different trades, step by step. From the technical gesture to the technological one, pairs will be formed: from the analysis of the engineers in the design office to the machining and assembly of the molds in the factory by qualified technicians, to the carrying out of conformity tests before production, the moldmaker will keep a watchful eye on his work.

Machining

For the manufacture of molds, he will carry out this precision mechanical work using specialized machine tools. Thanks to a technical gesture linked to experienced practice and high-precision know-how, he translates the initial plan into volume. Depending on the shape of the part to be produced, the plastic materials to be used and the molding technique chosen, he or she will integrate numerous parameters to create a mold and a cavity that conform to molding quality standards.

Numerically controlled to machine or mill the materials making up the parts of each future mold from its 3D model and according to the technique and technology used, specialized workers will assist him: Fitter, turner-miller, mechanic, plasturgist, machining technician, setter, welder, maintenance technician, all intervene at specific times under the supervision of the workshop manager.

Assembly

Once the mould parts have been assembled, it's time for verification tests to guarantee the conformity and reliability of the tooling produced.

Quality control

The moldmaker in charge of high-precision mold and cavity quality control will assemble and test the molds on an injection molding machine to reproduce future production conditions. He will be able to establish the need for rectification, or the completion of each injection mold.

If no incidents or non-conformities are found in relation to the specification requirements, the new mold will be validated.

Sustainability

Convinced of the need to reduce our carbon footprint, the entire team atEDELTAMP team will seek to optimize production processes to minimize waste and develop products that are more respectful of the environment. Eco-responsible design is more than just a standard, it's a common-sense state of mind for us. EDELTAMP.

EDELTAMPan industrial craftsman

It may sound like an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms, but it's not. Every industrial sector needs to produce certain parts in small series, very specific parts that often require a high degree of innovation, both in terms of design and manufacturing processes.

And for over 30 years, EDELTAMP has become a benchmark in the design and manufacture of thermoplastic injection molds, integrating the entire production chain for your benefit.

Every year, our expertise as a tool and die maker is called upon by international industrial customers for the production of plastic parts in a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, the capital goods industry, leisure and gardening, mobility, construction, wellness, handling and lifting.

The operational knowledge and excellence of our workers in the manufacture of high-precision steel molds guarantee you the highest quality in the industrial manufacture of plastic parts, from the molding of the most innovative prototypes to the overmolding of the most complex technical parts.
